Alexander The Medium 6:40 Jefferson Airplane Long John Silver 4 1/18/07 11:40 AM
Turn My Life Down 2:57 Jefferson Airplane Volunteers Rock 3 1/20/07 5:06 AM
If You Feel 3:20 Jefferson Airplane Crown of Creation - Other 2 1/18/07 8:09 AM
When I Was A Boy I Watched The Wolves 5:04 Jefferson Airplane - Grace Slick & Paul Kantner Sunfighter Rock 4 1/18/07 11:24 AM
Your Mind Has Left Your Body 4:46 jefferson starship - Grace Slick, Paul Kantner & David Freiberg Baron von Tollbooth & The Chrome Nun Classic Rock 1 1/18/07 11:20 AM

in a jumping around mood (thanks France for the cheap VSOP) - hey, I've loved SF stuff so long it's a pleasure rehearing stuff - just read the "GOT A REVOLUTION" book, good book on the Jefferson Rascal - so,
does anyone else need a copy without spending before buying, certain tracks with Garcia, etc, I managed to catch at a weird hour from limeweir...

If you Feel may be the best JA song recorded--certainly on Crown of Creation. It has that perfectly timed dual piston engine of Jorma and Jack running the train. The Jorma lead alone is brilliant in its brevity.

Is he still alive? We used to love his stuff-Mr. Natural, Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers ("Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope"), Ftitz the Cat (maybe another artist).

R. Crumb is still alive, living mainly in France where he continues to draw comics , posters and CD covers.

He did the Roots of the Grateful dead LP cover a few shorrt years back.

If you get just one book by him, I'd recommend
"The R. Crumb Handbook" - MQ Publications (2005, 437 pages, $25 retail)

Comes with a free CD sampler of his 1974-2002 live and studio music.
